This study evaluates the impact of the Patch-for-Patch programs implemented between February 2013 and April 2016. Cross-sectional time-series analyses were conducted to evaluate the impact of the program initiation on fentanyl dispensing, non-fentanyl opioid dispensing, opioid-related hospital visits and deaths, and fentanyl-related police incidents.
